What are the surface treatment methods of stainless steel rollers?

Stainless steel rollers are widely used in industries such as food and medical conveying lines due to their excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. The surface treatment of stainless steel rollers can be divided into polishing, pickling and passivation, drawing and sandblasting, etc.

1. Polishing. Stainless steel roller polishing process refers to the process of making the surface of stainless steel rollers smooth and smooth through polishing equipment. The surface of the polished stainless steel roller has no burrs and has a better finish. At the same time, the corrosion resistance and cleaning performance of the stainless steel roller have been greatly improved.

2. Sandblasting. Since there may be burrs on the surface of the stainless steel roller during processing, the sandblasting process can effectively avoid this situation. Sandblasting refers to using compressed air to form a high-speed air jet beam and drive spray materials (such as iron sand, emery, etc.) to the surface of the stainless steel roller. Due to the fast sandblasting speed, the spray material has a cutting effect on the surface of the stainless steel roller, so the burrs on the surface of the stainless steel roller are removed and a certain surface finish is obtained.

3. Pickling and passivation. In the surface treatment process of stainless steel rollers, pickling and passivation is also a very common process. Pickling uses chemical reactions to dissolve rust, oxide films and other impurities on the surface of stainless steel rollers to achieve cleaning effects. Passivation is a process that uses chemical reactions to form an oxide film on the surface of stainless steel rollers. Under the protection of the oxide film, the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance of the stainless steel rollers are improved.

4. Drawing. The surface drawing process of stainless steel rollers refers to processing the surface of stainless steel rollers into linear textures through wire drawing equipment. The wire drawing process can enhance the wear resistance of the stainless steel roller surface and improve the durability of the stainless steel roller. This process can meet different customization needs, making the surface of the stainless steel roller have evenly arranged fine lines, but retaining the smooth touch of the surface of the stainless steel roller.
