The role of the roller in the extruder

It plays a key role in the production of various plastic products. The application of rollers in extruders mainly includes the following points.

1. Plastic extrusion. After the plastic raw material is poured into the extruder, the rollers start running. Through the heating and extrusion of the roller, the plastic material is extruded into sheets, films, etc.

2. Rubber extrusion. The extruder roller has good high temperature resistance and wear resistance, and can extrude rubber materials into required shapes, such as rubber tubes, rubber strips or other rubber products.

3. Granulation. The extruder roller not only extrudes the pellets into shape, but also forms the raw materials into granular items. Under the heating and extrusion of the roller, the raw material melts and passes through the mold to form granular recycled material, which is used for the reproduction of plastic products.

4. Cool down. In addition to the heating of the rollers in the extruder, the cooling rollers are also required before the plastic or rubber products are formed. The cooling roller can cool down the rubber and plastic products, enhance their stability and prevent their deformation.
