The role of rollers in rubber mixing machines

In the rubber and plastic production process, rubber mixing is a very important step. In the rubber mixing process, rollers play a big role. The roller is composed of a roller body and a bearing, and can be made of different materials and surface treatments according to different rubber mixing requirements.

As the main accessory of rubber mixing equipment, rollers have the function of mixing and coloring rubber or plastic. It is considered to be the main application of rollers in rubber mixing machines.

1. Change the rubber molecular chain

After passing through the loading machine, the rubber raw materials and auxiliary raw materials are added to the rubber mixing machine for mixing. The pressure generated by the rotation between rollers and the cutting effect of external force cause the molecular chains in the rubber raw material to break and reconnect. Under the combined action of the rubber mixing machine and auxiliary raw materials, the rubber raw materials become easier to process.

2. Mix.

Rubber raw materials are generally hard, and it is difficult to directly mix auxiliary raw materials. When the rubber raw materials enter the rubber mixing machine, the rollers continuously rotate, squeeze, and stretch the rubber, coupled with external force cutting, the rubber can be fully mixed with the auxiliary raw materials to achieve the mixing effect.

3.Heating

By adjusting the temperature or using methods such as heated rollers, the rubber raw material can be heated to a certain temperature, making it softer and easier to process.
