Stripping Roller For Bi-Oriented Film
Application of Stripping Roller:
Stripping roller is used in the water tank at the front end of the biaxially oriented film production line. This roller is made of imported Hyperion (CSM) with high strength, wear resistance and water resistance. It mainly makes the thick film smoother and has better peeling effect, etc.
Detailed Description of Stripping Roller:
biaxially oriented film is a multilayer co-extruded film, which is produced with different types of resin /additive in respective layers to achieve desire performance as per the need of various applications. The molten polymer from respective extruder are met in the T-Die for Coex Film, keeping the identity of each layer. The die lip is automatically adjustable to maintain the film thickness,While the strippig roller makes the thick film smoother and has better peeling effect.
In Tenter frame process, the molten polymer extruded from the die is placed against a chill roll or multiple chill rolls. The sheet is being casted into a chill roll partially submerged in a water bath. The chill roll and water bath temperatures are generally maintained between 10 and 15°C. Usually these chill rolls are 1000 to 3000 mm in diameter and approximately 1000 to 2000 mm wide.
The surface of the chill roll must be very smooth. Any pitting or irregularities on the surface of the roller will influence the film quality. An air knife is used to force proper contact of molten polymer against the casting roll. The cooled film web then proceeds toward the machine direction orientation section.
